[Important Announcement]-----December 25, 2003

Since July 1999, we have been providing important and relevant news in the
medical and biological sciences to our members free of charge. In order to
maintain and improve the current service to you, we have decided to charge
an annual subscription fee of $29 starting next February.

After January 2004, current members and new members who do not pay for a subscription will
automatically become secondary members, who will not receive our monthly
newsletter nor have an access to our members only site.  However, secondary
members will continue to receive either highlights of the NBSN newsletter or
short news stories free of charge.
